Day trip from Valencia by coach to the Mascarat ravine for one of Spain’s most spectacular bridge swings (puenting): a 40-metre free fall and a pendulum between two century-old bridges, 60 metres above the ground. Departure from Mestalla, ValenciaTribe coordinator and insurance included.
The Mascarat ravine, the vertical crack separating Altea and Calpe, is one of the most spectacular bridge-swing spots in Spain. You jump from the bridge into a 40-metre free fall and finish in a huge pendulum between two historic bridges, around 60 metres above the bottom of the ravine. A few seconds you’ll never forget — and you take home the video of your jump.
To make a full day of it, from April to September we add a visit to Altea or Calpe before the jump, and from October to March we start with a hike in the area.
We leave by coach from Mestalla stadium with a big, social group of locals, Erasmus students and expats. Few things bring people together like cheering on the person next to you before they jump: most people come alone and leave with friends (and shared nerves to talk about).
The exact departure time is in your booking confirmation.

Do I need previous experience?
No. Before jumping there’s a safety briefing, and the bridge-swing company’s team gets you ready and stays with you the whole time.
Is it safe?
The jump uses certified technical gear (helmet and harness) and a double safety system, run by a specialist company.
Are there age or weight limits?
Yes. Minimum age is 16 (under-18s need authorisation from and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). Weight must be between roughly 45–50 kg minimum and 100 kg maximum. You also need to sign an informed consent form before jumping. If you’re close to any limit, ask us before booking.
Who shouldn’t jump?
Pregnant people and anyone under the influence of alcohol or other substances cannot jump. It’s not recommended with heart problems, uncontrolled epilepsy, recent injuries (back, knees, ankles or neck) or vertigo that prevents jumping safely. To reach the bridge you climb a rocky slope equipped with ropes, so basic mobility and fitness are needed. If you’re unsure, ask us before booking.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes. Best with nothing loose in your pockets.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, that’s the most common. The group comes together during the day.
