Join the waiting listDid you know the Valencia region has cliffs and coastal formations so dramatic that locals call them «fjords»? The Valencian fjords, between Xàbia (Jávea) and Cabo de San Antonio, are one of the least-known and most spectacular natural treasures on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. And the best way to see them is from the water.
With ValenciaTribe you board the boat and sail along kilometres of wild cliffs, sea caves, coves you can’t reach on foot and water of a breathtaking blue. An experience you won’t forget.
The coastline between Xàbia (Jávea) and Cabo de San Antonio is one of the most unspoilt and inaccessible in the Valencia region. Cliffs up to 100 metres high plunge straight into the sea, creating a jagged, spectacular coastline that can only be fully appreciated from the water.
Along the boat route you’ll discover:
The cruise leaves from the port of Xàbia (Jávea), one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Blanca. Xàbia has three distinct areas: the inland medieval town (with its magnificent Gothic fortress church), the fishing port and the Arenal beach. You’ll have free time before or after the cruise to explore the port and beach at your own pace.
Xàbia’s food deserves a special mention: arròs a banda, olleta marinera and fideuà are made here with fish from the local market, a few metres from where the boats come in every morning.
Times are approximate. The cruise lasts about 2.5 hours.
Most day trips from Valencia take you to pretty villages or well-known beaches. This one shows you the Valencian coast as you’ve never seen it: from the sea, sailing past cliffs that don’t appear on any standard tourist map. A completely different view of the Mediterranean.
If you already know Alicante, Altea or Benidorm, the Valencian fjords will surprise you. It’s the wild, untouched side of the Costa Blanca that most tourists never see.
If weather conditions make sailing impossible, we offer a new date or a full refund.
Yes, the boat has both a covered area and an open deck. In summer most passengers prefer the open deck for the views.
The fjords route is in relatively calm water, but if you’re prone to seasickness, take a travel-sickness tablet before boarding.
The standard cruise doesn’t include snorkel stops, but on some dates we offer versions with a swim stop. Ask about availability when booking.
The Valencian fjords are on the Alicante coast, between Xàbia (Jávea) and Cabo de San Antonio, within its Marine Nature Reserve. Getting there by public transport and timing it with the boat is tricky, so on this trip you leave by coach from Mestalla stadium and we take you straight to the boarding point.
From Mestalla stadium (Avenida de Aragón, Valencia). The exact time is in your booking confirmation.
Yes. Most people come solo, and it’s the easiest way to meet new people in Valencia.
If there is a weather warning or unsafe conditions, we let you know in advance and offer a new date or a refund.
