A natural gem in the Sierra de Bernia, a few kilometres inland from Benidorm. Fed by the Algar river, the falls form a series of cascades and natural pools that you explore along wooden walkways and marked paths.

What to bring

Backpack, camera and comfortable shoes; swimsuit, towel and sunscreen; and water shoes for the river (it’s rocky). In summer, food isn’t allowed in the swimming area — there’s a picnic area instead. Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed inside the park.

Can you swim at the Algar waterfalls?

Yes. The natural pools are crystal clear and cool, perfect for a dip, especially in summer. Bring water shoes, as the bottom is rocky.

What does the trip include?

How far ahead should I book?

We recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead, as coach seats are limited.
