Day trip from Valencia by coach to Calpe, a Costa Blanca gem. Enjoy La Fossa beach, snorkel at Cala el Racó and admire the mighty Peñón de Ifach. Departure from Mestalla, ValenciaTribe coordinator and insurance included. Group discounts available.
Discover Calpe, one of the jewels of the Costa Blanca, on a full-day trip from Valencia. Here the towering Peñón de Ifach rises over the Mediterranean, the beaches fly the blue flag and hidden coves are a snorkeling paradise. A perfect plan to enjoy the sea, nature and an unforgettable day.
With ValenciaTribe you travel by private coach, with a coordinator and people just as keen to enjoy the day as you. No parking hassle and no hours behind the wheel.
This rock, over 300 metres high and jutting into the sea, is a Natural Park and the most recognisable postcard on the Alicante coast. Photograph it from the beach, walk around its base and, if you’re up for it, follow the trail to viewpoints with spectacular views of the whole bay.
La Fossa beach, with fine golden sand, crystal-clear water and all facilities to hand, is ideal for relaxing with the Peñón in view. Close to the port is Cala el Racó, with clear, shallow water perfect for snorkeling: on the rocky seabed you’ll find hermit crabs, sea bream, damselfish and, with luck, an octopus. Bring a mask and snorkel and enjoy one of the best spots in the area.
Wander through Calpe’s old town, with its colourful façades, and discover the Baños de la Reina, a Roman site carved into the rock by the sea. History, colour and the Mediterranean in one day.
Times are approximate and may vary with traffic.
Swimsuit, towel, mask and snorkel, water shoes, sunscreen, cap, water and cash for lunch. In spring or autumn, a light jacket for the ride home.
It’s a full-day trip: departure around 08:30 and back in Valencia around 20:30, with about 7 hours of free time in Calpe.
